The DallasBlue MyLink Family mission is to provide a safe environment where YOU can confidently and effectively network, send and receive email and LinkedIn messages, and build your business.

We have established and will enforce the following rules regarding your use of MyLink services, directories, databases, and web pages, including MyLink500 and MyLinkGroups. If you are not willing to follow these rules, do not view these pages or add entries.

The following practices are prohibited. If you violate them, the general spirit of our community, or otherwise disrupt the harmony of the congregation of the Church of the Cosmic Void, you will be subject to our Complaint and Suspension program. Yeah, just like LinkedIn. I assure you there is no need to remind us of that irony.

• IDKs. An IDK occurs when a LinkedIn member receives a LinkedIn invitation and responds with I Don't Know. It is against our rules for MyLink500 open or libertine networkers to respond with an IDK. We certainly don't require you to accept an invitation. If you want to decline an invitation, please simply Archive it.
  
  
• Dishonest Listings. Use accurate and truthful information in your MyLink listings. Our listings are user-generated. We rely on our users to enter accurate data and report others if they break our community rules.
  
  
• Misuse of Networker Lists. If you send group email using one of our MyLink500 lists, use the BCC field. Do not put everyone's email address in the TO or CC fields, or in the body of the email. It is an invasion of privacy, bad Netiquette, and an abuse of email to expose everyone's email address.
  
  
• Spam. The networker lists and member email addresses published at our sites are to be used only for personal introductions and LinkedIn messages, including invitations and Introductions. DO NOT add people to your commercial list for your product or job openings, or contact members with messages that are not targeted or not relevant.
  
  
• Misuse of Groups. If a LinkedIn group is listed as closed on MyLinkGroups, DO NOT apply unless you clearly qualify for the group.
  
  
• Open means Open. If you are a MyLink500 Libertine, Open Networker, or Gamer, you cannot respond to a LinkedIn invitation from a fellow MyLink500 user with "I Don't Know" (IDK) or report it as spam. IDK or spam reports can cause the sender's account to be restricted. If you can't abide by this rule, change your Networker Type to Closed Networker or contact us to remove your listing.
  
  
• Active User. You must maintain a current and accurate email address in your MyLink500 and MyLinkGroups listings, as well as your primary LinkedIn address. Nobody likes to waste emails and Invitations.
  
  
• Illegitimate Profiles. Illegitimate LinkedIn profiles includes those with bogus email addresses, multiple profiles set up by one person, and incomplete profiles with little information. We above all people are pained by LinkedIn's tiresome restrictions and limitations. Play whatever games you like with LinkedIn and violate their Terms of Service at your own risk. But DO NOT pollute the MyLink commuinty. We all have limited Introductions and invitations. We want to use them on real people.
  
  
• Abusive Members. LinkedIn is a business network. So be professional. Accept that people are different, may not be as experienced or knowledgeable as you, may reject your Introduction, may not accept your Invitation, or may otherwise rub you the wrong way. Just get on with your life. Learn from your negative experiences, educate others, and YOU be the one who acts like the adult. We are loathe to get involved in personal disputes and communications. But we've seen cases of extremely unprofessional behavior where members are personally attacked, sworn at, and even sexual references made. There is no way in LinkedIn to report such unacceptable behavior and warn others about abusive members. So we're doing it here. In the online world, your reputation is everything.

NOTE -  The MyLink Customer Service program only covers MyLink listings and web sites.  It has different terms and is separate from LinkedIn Customer Service.   Please continue to contact LinkedIn Customer Service for LinkedIn members that violate the LinkedIn Terms of Service.

In our experience many complaints can be amicably resolved. IDKs, for example, are typically due to accidents or a lack of awareness. We've developed the following process that we believe strikes a reasonable compromise for all parties concerned.

1. Complaint. If you experience a MyLink Terms of Service violation, write us at . If you are reporting an IDK, be sure there the person is listed in MyLink500 and is shown as an Open or Libertine networker. Provide the violator name, email, LinkedIn profile link, and offense. Include as much evidence as possible, such as email, screenshot, blood test, etc.
2. Investigation. The complaint will be investigated. The offender will be contacted and his MyLink listing suspended.
3. Resolution. If the offender responds and provides a satisfactory explanation, the suspension will be lifted. The initial complaint will be logged, so we'll know about continued infractions. If the offender does not respond, does not cooperate or provide a satisfactory explanation, a violation is repeated, or the violation is malicious, the LinkedIn member will be banned from the MyLink community.

The following list contains both Suspended and Banned accounts.

Suspended accounts are displayed and searchable in MyLink500. However they are NOT included in the open networker lists.

Banned accounts will not be displayed anywhere except the list below.
